Julian Stetter/Vimes for Anja Base Fashion

Well, these are the new scarfs for men that I sewed during the last weeks. Actually girls can wear them, too. They are made of dark fabrics, mostly with a major amount of wool. The basic form is a diamond. After folding it, you just wrap it around your neck and tie it with two long, black laces. Each scarf is an absolutely unique item. Get them here: Temporary Supermarket.

I’m very glad that I could find a gorgeous looking and likewise musically talented person to shoot them with: Julian Stetter. He’s one of the guys from the band Vimes, who already played in december at our Super Market After Shopping Party at Wohnbar. With their concert on saturday, during Cologne Music Week, I’m sure that their name will be even more widespread.

Happy 2011

2011 starts with a huge bag of resolutions. stay tuned!

” to love. to be loved. to never forget your own insignificance.
to never get used to the unspeakable violence of vulgar disparity of life around you.
to seek joy in the saddest places.
to pursue beauty to its lair.
to never simplify what is complicated or complicate what is simple.
to respect strength, never power.
above all, to watch.
to try to understand.
to never look away.
and never, never forget.”

Arundhati Roy, the algebra of infinite justice, 2002
